Not only that, but properly tagged videos can also help you in terms of search. The right video, presented in the right way, provides your business with a major boost, and it can mean a greater chance of success for you as an entrepreneur.

Unfortunately, making a video can get time-consuming and expensive — especially if you want to do it right. There are resources you can use to reduce your costs, though. Places like Fiverr make it possible for you to have a video edited, or an intro made. These sites are inexpensive, ¬†but the products might not be as professional as you like. You can spend hours and thousands of dollars to make one video. Only to have to turn around and do it again at some point.

It is possible to get started with basic video in your home or office, using your computer’s built-in camera and a mic. I’ve done it myself. At some point though, it makes sense to take the production up a notch if you want to be seen as a “serious” businessperson, or if you want to make videos that people are comfortable sharing.

New Social Media Site for Creating Video

One of the cool things that one of my friends is working on right now is a social video channel, called Tawki, aimed at helping its users create unique, premium videos in a matter of time. For entrepreneurs and small business owners, this is a huge step forward.

So, what’s the catch? This site doesn’t exist yet. Creating a site like that takes money. And in order to raise funds the folks at Tawki are running an Indiegogo campaign. One of the great things about a campaign like this is that you get access to the service in beta if you contribute, as well as access to premium features at higher contribution levels.

A site like Tawki would be especially valuable to entrepreneurs and small businesses, since it would be affordable, and provide a solid alternative to making your own videos in an unprofessional setting.
